Change user display name
The display name is optional and is visible to other people who have permission to view the user profile on the platform. If the user chooses to have a custom display name (by default, the platform creates a user display name automatically, based on an account registration details).
The display name appears on earned badges and issued certificates. Activity organisers may want to view a correct user display name or issue badges and certificates that include a user’s correct name and surname.
Note! Changed display names will be visible to people having permissions to view users in the same Activity/Playlist and only in that specific Organiser, Activity or Playlist where changes has been made.
To apply display name change across platforms, users can modify their display name in their Personal account settings (view Help article Change your display name).
Changing a user’s display name at Organiser level
- Click on your profile picture at the top right, then click on the drop-down list with Organiser accounts that you manage.
- Select the Organiser’s Account (Click on Account profile -> Select Organiser) in which you want to modify people’s user display names.
- Go to the People tab.
- Find the user whose display name you want to change.
- Click on that user's name or email address.
- Type in a user’s display name which you prefer to be visible on Organiser level.
- Click Save
Changing a user’s display name at Activity/Playlist level
- Open Activity or Playlist where you want to change the user’s display name.
- Go to the People tab.
- Find the user whose display name you want to change.
- Click on the user’s name or email address.
- Type in the user’s display name which you prefer to be visible on Activity/playlist level.
- Click Save
